This Flower Medallion design is new this year! I’ve been wearing it and get a ton of compliments- it is larger than many of our designs, and is visually striking.

It will be an addition to our Aperta line of Intention Necklaces- it was designed with a lot of symbolism and power. Since we have not had a chance to write up a full description of the intentions, for now it is being offered as ‘just a regular necklace.’ But a few notes to make you think: modeled after the flower Rudbeckia, or Black-Eyed Susan, which represents encouragement, renewal, and the wonder of childhood magic. The petals have swirls which alternate between directions (think: inward/outward) and also call to mind fingerprints.

The Flower Medallion is available with two choices of gemstone. Originally designed with locally-cut Carnelian from Lake Superior (both for the stone’s properties and to match the color scheme of the Rudbeckia flower), I also love it with a soft Purple Sage Chalcedony, also ethically-sourced.

Hand-carved with love, as always, this design has heft and weight to match its size. This, along with the 8mm gemstones, make it a piece you will feel amazing in! We make this with a 20” chain, but are happy to take special orders for shorter or adjustable lengths- just put a comment for what you would like at checkout!
